Preschool Checklist: Things to Prepare Before Sending Your Child to School

Sending your little one to preschool for the first time is another important step in the lives of both parents and children. Being prepared will not only reduce anxiety but also make your little one's start smoother and more enjoyable. Therefore, we have compiled a "Preschool Checklist" or things to prepare before sending your child to school for parents as follows:

1. Important documents
- Copy of child's birth certificate: This document is usually required by the school for registration.
- Parent's ID card: Used to verify identity if requested by the school.
- Health and vaccination record book: To confirm that the child has received vaccinations on schedule and is in good health.

2. School supplies
- School bag: Choose one that is the right size for the child and has organized storage compartments.
- Pencil box and writing tools: such as pencils, crayons, erasers, and pencil sharpeners.
- Notebooks or drawing paper: For creative activities in the classroom.

3. Clothing and personal items
- School uniform and shoes: Check that they fit well and are comfortable to wear.
- Spare clothes: Prepare a spare set in case of an accident, such as getting wet or dirty.

4. Food and snacks
- Lunch boxes and water bottles: Choose lightweight and easy-to-use items for your child.
- Healthy snacks: Such as fresh fruit or whole grain snacks.
- Name tags: Write your child’s name on lunch boxes, water bottles, and personal items.

5. Health and cleanliness
- Handkerchiefs and tissues: For wiping the face and hands.
- Travel-sized alcohol gel or liquid soap: Teach your child to clean their hands regularly.
- Personal medication (if any): Inform the teacher about the use of medication and how to store it.

6. Mental preparation
